Returns
Please read the following very thoroughly.
For all returns and/or cancelled orders (including workshops, classes etc.) before shipping, there will be a fee of €7.50 per item to compensate for my time on administration + additional any Shopify / Paypal / Creditcard payment fee's depending on the payment option you used. Please note that the amount of these fees will be deducted from your refund.
All of my work is handmade with the utmost care. I try to be as descriptive as possible about all the DIY kits, objects and jewelry in my shop, so please read descriptions and measurements carefully, and to contact me with questions prior to ordering.
When ordering a ring, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. When a ring is ordered in the incorrect size it can possibly be re-sized, but this will be subject to a charge. Re-sizing can not be done for custom orders, or made to order items.
When ordering a DIY kit, please make sure you order the correct size. DIY kits can not be returned. There is no partly refund possibility if you choose not to use the purchased casting and/or gold plating.
If, by chance, you have received a faulty or damaged item, please contact me as soon as possible, latest within 7 days of receipt. I will then advise on how to proceed hello@daphnevandermeulen.com
The item must be sent back in it’s original box and if applicable in unworn condition. The item is the recipient’s responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods with a tracking number. Daphne van der Meulen cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit. If you are returning an item for a refund or an exchange, the cost of returning the item is your responsibility. Your original postage costs will not be refunded, this includes when your order had free shipping, unless the item you received was sent in error or is faulty (providing we are notified of faults within 7 days of receipt). We will not exchange goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging, unopened or show obvious signs of abuse. In this instance, the goods will be returned to the buyer at his own cost. In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued to the same bank account from which it originated within 28 days of receipt of the return. The refund will be made once the items are returned.
Please note that we do not offer a guarantee on gold plated items. All gold plated items will fade, damage when wearing. This is a natural process inherent to the proces of gold plating. Which is a micro thin layer of gold added to the silver surface. This layer will fade when wearing, and scratch when rubbed over a solid hard surface. It is merely a visual addition to your silver jewel. If you want to have your golden jewelry to stay golden, we recommended investing in solid gold.
Please note that all ‘made to order’ jewelry sales are final and are not subject for return or exchange.
Cancellation
If you happen to want to cancel your order, we would love to know why. DVDM Jewelry is a 1 woman run business and any feedback is appreciated.
If you want to cancel your order before the item(s) has been shipped out.
