Create your unique Jewel out of Wax.

Hand carve, sculpt and create your own jewelry design in this inspirational and informal workshop, which is suitable for beginners. If you fancy an artistic creative moment for yourself or together with friends than I invite you to join a small group of likeminded creatives.

What will we do?
Let's make jewels, whether you want to create a ring, a pendant, an object, earrings or a brooche, you are free to create and express your creative mind. I'll guide you through the basics of making your design in wax, using a technique called Lost Wax Casting.

Over the course of 3,5 hours you have plenty of time to create one or more wax master models. If you are happy with one (or more) of your created designs, and wish to have it transformed in recycled silver, we will weigh the wax model which then will be cast and hand finished after the workshop at an additional price. Your jewel will be ready to collect within a maximum of 3 weeks. As this is a informal Workshop I do not go into the technicalities of the process. If you like to do this on a regular basis I would love to invite you to the Monday Wax Classes, and if you want to get into the nitty gritty and learn all the technical details of making, casting and finishing your creations than I suggest you book the Wax StarterClass or Wax MasterClass.

Workshop

Casting, finishing and polishing

• Casting and finishing fee of your designs is €45,- + €3,-/gram cast silver per jewel. (This is calculated according to the following ratio: 1g wax = 11g silver. The average cast silver ring weighs between 6 and 18 grams, depending on your design)
• Optional Gold plating in 14k or 18k gold
  
• Optional Shipping including gift wrapping back to you
