Create and hand make your unique wax ring.
Fancy a fun creative moment for yourself? And always wanted to know and feel what it's like to be a jewelry designer? You can! Spend a morning, afternoon or evening together in a small group and immerse yourself in this super fun and creative jewelry making workshop. For this workshop we we will use the ancient technique of 'Lost Wax Casting'. We will explore the different carving techniques to create your very own design in wax.
What will we do?
In this workshop I will teach you the basics of the lost wax carving technique and you will use this knowledge to design and create a ring in wax. Under guidance, you will file and model your unique design out of wax and explore techniques for creating textures in the surface using the tools provided. After 2,5 hours of being completely captivated by this technique, at the end of the workshop you will have made a wax master model completely to your likings and your design.
After the Workshop, your master wax model will be taken to our local foundry. There your unique design will be cast in recycled Silver. After returning from the foundry, I will hand finish and polish your silver piece of jewelry. Your piece will be ready to collect within a maximum of 3 weeks. - The workshop takes 2,5 hours
- Wax ring up to 8mm wide (or pendant if you prefer)

- Casting your design in recycled silver at the local foundry
- Optional; Gold plating in 14k or 18k gold
- The finishing - polishing of your unique silver jewelry
- Optional; Shipping including gift wrapping back to you
There is an additional charge for pieces larger than the above specifications. If you would like to have your finished piece plated in 14k gold, this will cost an additional 30 euros, which you can pay on the day. Or perhaps you would like to have your design cast in 14k yellow solid gold, this is also an option.

Note!
As your design will be casted after the workshop, you will not bring home a finished piece of jewelry. The finished silver piece can be collected (or will be send to you if you opted for this) within 3 weeks max.
